COMMUNICATION & MARKETING COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

The job holder performs the duties related to communications and marketing. The incumbent ensures the planning and execution of the communication plan in collaboration with the different services. The incumbent develops communication and marketing tools and provides advice to the department managers. The incumbent significantly contributes to the development and maintenance of an organizational culture angled towards teamwork and client satisfaction. Under any circumstance, the incumbent acts with respect and diplomacy. The incumbent ensures that the standards set with management are enforced.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Participate in the development of an annual communication plan that includes various organizations;
  • Participate in strategizing the RBA Foundation action plan and the fundraising campaign, seeking potential donators, carrying out the call for tenders process and analyzing candidates for the Foundation;
  • Participate in creating and updating internal policies in relation to their area of expertise;
  • Prepare graphic standards, brand images and marketing strategies for our organizations in cooperation with communication and marketing suppliers;
  • Ensure and coordinate the design, drafting, production and publication of documents for various organizations and use different marketing tools;
  • Oversee media placement, advertising and promotional objects;
  • Cooperate in updating documentation for financial products and services, and the RBA Foundation;
  • Cooperate in the sponsorship plan;
  • Represent our organizations and partners;
  • Organize and prepare RBA/NBP events: golf tournament and annual general assemblies;
  • Analyze, set up and ensure the follow-up of social media and web platforms in cooperation with the organization’s departments;
  • Assume any other related or responsibility assigned by the incumbent’s superior.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • University degree in communications or other related fields;
  • Minimum of four years of experience in communications or other related fields;
  • Ability to communicate in both official languages (French and English) at an advanced level (written and spoken); 
  • Working knowledge of communications software and technologies; 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the exception of Excel where thorough knowledge is required; 
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, First Nations is an asset.

  • Participation in a defined benefit pension plan;

  • The gross annual salary for this position is between $65,835 and $90,510 and varies according to the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills.

  • Three weeks of vacation time, plus two paid weeks off during the holiday season.
