ACTUARIAL OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Actuarial Operations Assistant will be primarily responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail related to member requests, including scanning, opening requests and managing follow-ups. They will also support the team of advisors in the Employer Services and Member Services departments in their administrative tasks, including travel planning, printing documents, making appointments, etc.

The incumbent will also be responsible for reception in conjunction with the person occupying the position of Assistant to the Actuarial and IT Manager. This includes greeting visitors and delivery personnel, transferring calls and other tasks.

Qualification Required

  • College diploma (D.E.C.) in secretarial, office automation, administration or other relevant field.
  • A minimum of one to three years’ secretarial experience, ideally in the retirement field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Requires confidentiality on all files.
  • Knowledge of pension plans or finance (an asset).
  • Knowledge of aboriginal communities (an asset).

  • The gross annual salary for this position is between $54,004 and $74,352 andvaries according to thecandidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills;
